This is a weird turn of events, as the whole city of Bristol fights back against the recession by printing it’s own money. We’re not sure what to make of it, as the whole thing is labelled as a voluntary ‘social enterprise’ rather than legal tender. Still, it’s got a mention in Design Week, so let’s see if we can use a Bristol Fiver to pay our milk bill at the Newsagents round the corner.
Making money, but not for profit?
